1) To rapidly respond with specialized apparatus, equipment, and properly trained personnel to any call for assistance and safely and efficiently assist in mitigating the incident 24 hours a day.

2) To provide and maintain a training facility, equipped with modern apparatus, equipment, classrooms, appropriate props, and staffed with the best qualified instructors to train individuals in all aspects of the fire service.

3) To consider establishing a means to assist individuals in pursuing personal development in the fire service.

4) To recruit, train, and maintain a strong cadre of personnel to ensure the continuance of the Meadowood County Area Fire Department and its programs.

5) To be in the for-front of developing, testing, evaluating and using the most modern apparatus and equipment; applying the most modern technologies; and teaching the most modern methods.

6) To raise sufficient funds to maintain all the programs and operations of the Meadowood County Area Fire Department.
